Hinds CC establishes Black Alumni Chapter

College students bond through mutual experiences and sometimes develop lasting connections. Hinds Alumni Association acknowledged the significance of those connections and has now established its first Black Alumni Chapter.

Robert Weathersby (2009) of Clinton is the chief operating officer for Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb. He received an Associate Degree in Nursing from Hinds and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Quade Smith

Quade Smith

Quade Smith (2015) was named the head baseball coach at Canton Academy. He played Eagles baseball for two years, helping the Eagles to an NJCAA national title game berth in 2014.

Marlee Price (2012) is the Communications and Tourism Director for the City of Clinton. She earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Graphic Design Technology from Hinds and a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Stephanie Gerlach (2002) is the Municipal Court Clerk for Gluckstadt. While at Hinds she played softball and studied sports training.
