Dr. Debbie Norris (1977), Dean of the Graduate School and Associate Provost at Mississippi College, has announced her retirement at the conclusion of the spring semester. Norris transferred to Mississippi College from Hinds and worked there for 40 years. A native of Raymond, Dr. Norris obtained her B.S. in business administration from MC, her M.Ed. from Mississippi State University, and her Ph.D. in higher education from the University of Mississippi. At Hinds, Norris was a cheerleader, homecoming queen her sophomore year and active in Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha Beta Gamma and the Baptist Student Union.
