“Hinds is a good partner and has been with us since day one. Our first maintenance techs came from Hinds through the industrial maintenance program,” said Continental Talent Acquisition Manager Darryl Jenkins, a Hinds alumnus and former employee. “They were the very first persons hired on for production.”
“We would never be able to do a program of this magnitude without that industry leadership”
“Our real focus over the years has been to provide scholarships for students who are pursuing or intend to pursue some medically related field”
The college’s partnerships with these industry leaders grew out of a need the companies had for trained employees. Hinds worked with them to craft training structures and time schedules that fit their needs, not traditional academic schedules.
