Athletic and dominant are words used by former Hinds head football coach Gene Murphy to describe Grady Jackson. Before arriving at Hinds, Jackson lettered for Greensboro High School in Greensboro, Ala.
Foundation positioned to better serve community
The Hinds Community College Foundation office has been reorganized to better serve the college as well as the community. There are new faces as well as familiar faces that are returning in new roles.
Gunnar White
Terry native Gunnar White (2013), who played offensive lineman on the Hinds football team, has joined Jackson State University as an analyst for the JSU Tigers.
Adam Wade
Adam Wade (2011) of Clinton in July was named the Director of the Baptist HealthPlex. At Hinds, Wade studied in the Landscape Management program.
Roger Kendall Spell
Roger Kendall Spell (2004) has been promoted to vice president at a Jackson Trustmark. He has been with Trustmark for three years and has 13 years of banking experience.
