Hinds Athletics hosted its first Alumni Weekend and Golf Outing, which drew 12 teams to play at Eagle Ridge Golf Course on April 8. More than $7,500 was raised to go toward projects to update athletic facilities.
Hinds Community College track and field athletes Jerricka Ambus, of Brandon, and Breanna Brown-Marshall, of Birmingham, Ala., have continued the program’s long-standing tradition of success during their two seasons of competition.
Following one of the most successful campaigns in recent memory, the Hinds Community College Department of Athletics is embarking on a game-changing capital campaign – Impact Fund – that will reshape the face of Hinds’ programs for years to come.
