Since its inception 34 years ago, the annual Golf Fun Fest, normally held in mid-April, has been the Hinds Community College Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser. Last year, the outbreak of COVID-19 disrupted many events in the area, including Golf Fun Fest. Because this tournament is so vital to the Foundation, we rescheduled it for October and were able to host a socially distanced tournament that raised much-needed funds and saved a three decades long tradition.
We have decided to continue our “new” tradition this year of hosting the tournament in the Fall, and have scheduled this year’s event for Thursday, Oct. 14.
