“This is an event we’ve been looking forward to for quite some time,” said Hinds President Dr. Stephen Vacik. “Because of the pandemic, and a multitude of construction delays, it got pushed back several times.
I want to especially thank our friends at Aladdin Elior and the partnership with Chick-fil-A that helped bring all this together to create something very special for our students, first and foremost, but also for our community as well.”
The ribbon-cutting was attended by local elected officials as well as Hinds employees and representatives of Chick-fil-A and Aladdin, which holds the franchise license.
“Aladdin Campus Dining is proud to partner with Hinds Community College to bring this Chick-fil-A to the Raymond Campus,” said Edmund LeDoux, Director of Operations for Aladdin. “As a partner to Hinds for 40 plus years, our goal is to bring high-quality food concepts as well as national brands like Chick-fil-A to campuses. We look forward to serving our students as well as our local community.”
Hinds’ Chick-fil-A is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
