About
The Aviation Chapter of the Hinds Community College Alumni Association was formed in 2008. This chapter was formed to bring together people who share a love of aviation and a willingness to help the aspiring aviation program students.
To become a licensed aviation professional (pilot or technician) is a costly endeavor. Aviation program students incur substantial costs over and above the price of tuition and books. This is where the Aviation chapter really shows its dedication to the industry.
The Aviation Chapter has established a merit-based scholarship program that is designed to assist with the costs of obtaining the FAA license(s). Also, the membership of this chapter is comprised of successful local aviation professionals who are willing to counsel with students concerning their upcoming career in aviation.

Membership
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in aviation and a desire to help Hinds Community College Aviation Department students. You can join our Aviation Chapter today online or by completing the membership form and submitting it to the Alumni Association Office with your minimum gift of $25.00.
