Mission, Vision, and Values

The Hinds Community College Foundation exists solely for the benefit of Hinds Community College. Its role is to support the mission, vision and values of the College. Therefore, the Foundation has adopted the same vision and values as the College.

Mission

The mission of the Hinds Community College Foundation will be to:

  • build relationships between the college, its donors, and the communities we serve;
  • support educational access for students by making available student scholarships;
  • provide recognition and support to the college employees, college departments, and student organizations; and
  • support cultural activities to enrich the college and the community.

Vision

Hinds Community College will be a catalyst to create a competitive economy and a compelling culture for Mississippi.
